The inception of the company goes back to the beginning of the 1950s, when Armand T. Roy founded the A.T. Roy Construction Company. Back then, Roy worked mainly in the field of excavation, road construction and earthwork. His eldest son, Daniel, quickly inherited his interest and contagious passion for the company. He made his debut with A.T. Roy Construction at a very young age while driving various machinery. In 1976, Daniel made the acquisition of his first truck and later incorporated his own company in 1979, Roy's Trucking & Landscaping Ltd. The two companies worked together for several years, and to this day, with the same ultimate goal of offering the very best work and services to their customers and communities. In 1985, Daniel developed a particular interest in the fabrication of quarry stones and aggregates. He then started working in the community, with projects such as the construction of breakwaters or the reconstruction of wharfs and roads. With the acquisition of their own quarry near the Port of Belledune, Roy's Trucking & Landscaping now uses stones and aggregates in the surrounding provinces as well as in different countries.

Our commitment with the community

Roy's Trucking is proud to be able to support various causes in our community such as sports, food banks and schools. In addition to sponsoring several sports teams and hockey players each year, Roy's Trucking has been a proud sponsor of two rowing teams (men and women) for more than 10 years. Each year, Roy's Trucking donates to local schools in support of the hot meal program for children in need.
